Buna tuturor!

Bineinteles, de make-up s-a ocupat subsemnata.
Ador fiecare poza in parte!

ENGLISH

Hello everyone!
I’m back! And I have a wonderful story for you,one that is very special for me. Let me tell you how it all began…
A while ago I finally watched ‘Marie Antoinette’,the movie, starring the beautiful Kirsten Dunst in the role of the young Queen of Versailles.
I will be honest with you,the plot didn’t really catch my attention, but I was amazed by the variety of costumes,make-up looks, hairstyles and all the other elements that slowly built up the decadent feel of the 18th century.
Quickly, my mind wandered to the thought that I want to transpose the charm of those times into a photo and video shooting with this elaborated and intriguing theme. I couldn’t wait to show you the final result! I am more than pleased with what we achieved and I really wish, with all my heart, to delight your sight with a combination of colors, elegance, complexity, and, above all,DIVERSITY.
I was blessed again with the help of many amazing and beautiful people who overwhelmed me with their patience dedication… I express my gratitude to all of them.
The magic happened in the store ‘Lovely by M’, a location that transmits perfectly the vibe I was looking for, by having the most classical and elegant furniture pieces qand decorations. The owners were so nice, they even gave us the key to the store and left us there, with no time frame whatsoever. Tell me, where else can you find such amazing people?
The one who coordinated our day and organized all our tasks very well was Diana Mocian (Define Media). With her on point skills, she managed to conduct all 20 participants (i told you, we were a lot of people on set. Her presence was well needed and I thank her for that. I have also asked my friend Loredana Dezmirean (whose name is already familiar to you) to help me and to be there for me. This time she styled the shoot. I have to admit, this girl is gifted in so many ways and styling is a talent of hers. She was also my make-up assistant. Need I say more? I was very happy to have her with me! Of course, I was the one doing the make-up. I let my imagination flow and I came up with four distinct styles that contour very well that burlesque era. Mihaela Vodnar (and other team members from Ciao Bella) and the talented florists from Las Floristas, worked hand in hand and created the most complex and appealing hairstyles. The accessories made by Alesandrina complemented very well the colored flowers. And, to have a combination of all senses, we also recieved the best macarons in town, homemade by Ioana Crisan. We couldn’t wait to share them at the end of the shooting, they were delicious!
As for the clothing, Teodora Baciu, a young and talented designer, offered us a beautiful dress that matched everything else perfectly. But, because in the end we booked four beautiful models, we came up with the idea of using three wedding gowns: mine, Diana’s, and the photographer’s.
As I’ve now mentioned the photographer, let me also tell you who took care of the technical aspect. The videographer I chose was Radu Vaidean (Obiectiv Studio), who you’ve met before. I’ve appreciated him so much during my previous project, Versatility, that I’ve asked him to shoot again. He said yes and i was delighted. The photographs are taken by the talented Lavinia Muresan (C’est Lavi Photography). Her vision is one of a kind and, even if I knew that her work is always amazing, I waz amazed with the result. I adore each and every picture!
The models? I’m getting there! In the introduction i’ve written “diversity” with capital letters. I’ve done it for a reason. The girls i’ve chosen have a common treat: they are all extremely beautiful. But, their beauty is infinitely different. The gorgeous asian figure, Linh, comes all the way from Vietnam, Diane is from Burundi, Africa and she has two amazing daughters (can you believe it?), Ildiko is a fairy-like Hungarian girl and Cristina is the pure, blonde, Romanian… four totally opposed typologies, four different sets of features, four clean canvases I painted on.
The picture of them next to eachother is such a nice work of art, don’t you think?
I think we have done this shooting just right, without any false modesty. I am so proud and happy to be watching the result of our work and realise the effort put in every detail, by people who used their precious time to be helping me. I repeat, I am truly overwhelmed by your kindness!

Teaser: I’ve grown an appetite for this type of complex projects which are more creative and artsy than usual. Even though the concepts I came up with are not exactly easy to develop, I love how the result is always cohesive. So, the series continues with another shoot called “Gone with the wind”, project for which I am already brainstorming and preparing the details.
I am very excited for what comes next and I really hope you are too!

Thank you, once again, for being next to me, virtually or phisically. You fill me with happiness and good energy!
